For plans that include a one-year extended warranty: PTS Direct Benefits will provide a member with a one-year extended warranty after the member owns the merchandise. This benefit will allow the member to have 1 year of warranty protection after the rental term has been completed and they own the merchandise. Protection is provided against product failure and mechanical breakdown of the merchandise not caused by external conditions. Without this benefit, any repairs required on previously rented merchandise, including home electronics, furniture, appliances and computers, would be the responsibility of the member. Direct Benefits will provide a member with a Product Replacement & Theft Benefit. A new agreement will be opened “on like kind replacement product at the same rental/lease/purchase terms.” A covered loss will include damage of loss due to fire, flood, windstorm, lighting or other acts of God, and theft. If the claim is due to theft, a police report must be filed within 48 hours of the loss and there must be visible signs of forced entry. All rental/lease/purchase payments and fees must be current and in order, and the merchandise must be located at the address on the rental/purchase agreement for the claim to be covered. Replacement claims exclude data and its value. Replacement claims also exclude contents inside buildings/sheds purchased.
To file a claim, customer must contact the store where the rental/purchase agreement was made and provide appropriate documentation from the Police or Fire Department as applicable. This agreement will not be in effect for normal wear & tear, damage due to mis-use, abuse, mysterious disappearance, abandonment, or negligence. The store will provide the claim form that must be signed by the customer.
PTS Direct Benefits will provide a member with a Prepaid Debit VISA Card®. The card will be made available to the member by contacting PTS Club. A member must be 18 years or older to register for this card. A member must also be prepared to give legal name, address, birthday, gender, phone numbers, email, and social security number. If the member’s identity can be verified from the data input on the website, a card will be mailed to the home address. The Elevate Prepaid Visa Card® is issued by Sunrise Bank, N.A. pursuant to a license by VISA U.S.A., Inc. PTS Direct Benefits will provide a member with a Child Identification Kit that will include a fingerprint kit. This benefit, which must be ordered from PTS Direct Benefits, will provide parents with peace-of-mind knowing that their child’s personal information is recorded in case of an emergency. A parent will be able to record personal, contact, dental and medical information. A photo of the member’s child can be attached to the paperwork.

If member is more than 100 miles from home and his or her automobile become disabled, Club will reimburse member up to $300 in actual expenses of continuing their journey by car rental or commercial transportation and/or room and board while waiting on auto repairs. Member calls for road service of member’s choice and Program will reimburse member up to $50. PTS Direct Benefits Program will reimburse for towing or wrecker service and service call by garage or mechanic to member’s disabled auto. Included is opening locked vehicle, ignition or garage door if member’s key has been lost or broken. Roadside mechanical repair includes labor and service call only. Gas, parts, new keys and repairs in garage or at service station not included, except tire repair and battery charge which are limited to $15 each. Only one wrecker charge or service call per disablement. Assistance of a private citizen or services of a family member in the wrecker business is not reimbursable.

If PTS did not prepare your tax return in the last four years, our member services group will review your return to ensure that the member received the maximum tax refund available for the taxpayer. If the original return was not filed correctly, you will be given advice on how to proceed. Please provide all documents used in the initial tax return preparation as well as the completed tax return that was submitted to the IRS. If a member is charged in an auto accident in which someone is injured or killed, the Club will reimburse for the fee charged by a licensed bail bondsman in an amount that is the lesser of 10% of the face amount of the bail bond set in your case or $1,000. Club will not be a surety on any bail bond. This provision does not include an appeal bond of any kind. (NOT AVAILABLE IN ALL STATES INCLUDING OKLAHOMA AND VIRGINIA.)
If a Member is charged with vehicular homicide due to an auto accident, the Club will pay an attorney of member’s choice up to $250 to defend current member in a preliminary hearing and up to $250 each for subsequent trials and/or hearings. The total amount payable by the Club shall not exceed $750 per accident.
